A rather posh lady gave me a bell this morning around half past eight, claiming that over a hundred overseas businesses had been barred from my phone. I insisted I had no involvement in such actions, but she went on to threaten me with extra charges for late payment if I didn’t cough up some cash! Quite the cheek, if you ask me!

I got a call asking for £49.99 to remove me from their nuisance caller list. Thing is, I’m already signed up with the official TOS register. Last week I clicked through their link just to double-check I was on it, and nowhere did it say there’d be a fee. Seems like a scam to me. I think if you do ring them up, they might actually charge you, if I recall properly.

Got a call saying I had to pay £49.99 to stop nuisance calls. I said no way, then she said I needed to ring 02921880162 to sort an admin fee. Sounded dodgy as she wanted my card info - I didn’t give it to her. Definitely looks like a scam, watch out for this one!

WATCH OUT! This number's used to block calls. They ask for £49.99 right away. When I said I couldn’t afford it, they wanted more money because I hadn’t paid the first amount. Don’t give them any info!

I had a rather dubious call on my landline the other day. A lady on the other end was trying to convince me to fork out nearly £50 for some sort of call blocking service. She mentioned an email that had supposedly been dispatched to me a few days prior, detailing the service and the costs involved. I told her I wasn’t comfortable sharing my card details over the phone and insisted on seeing the email first. Now that I’ve had a gander at my inbox, I can’t find a trace of any such correspondence! What a shambles!
