I’ve encountered the very same scenario recently, but this time it was a lady on the line identifying herself as Lucy! Given that we hadn’t even switched on the computer for two days, it definitely raised our eyebrows. So, we asked her for her number, and lo and behold, it was exactly the same as someone else’s we’d looked into. If anyone receives a call like this, I’d advise you to be cautious - it’s clearly a rather dodgy setup.

Today, on the 11th of December at precisely 11:39 AM, we received a rather peculiar call from a foreign woman who identified herself as Caron. She launched into a lengthy tirade about perilous viruses and claimed that international routing had flagged our computer as a threat. In the midst of her sales pitch, we conducted a little digging and stumbled upon a discussion forum that laid bare the details of this scam. We promptly told her to stop wasting our time and hung up the phone, putting an end to her charade.

Malcolm, your command of the English language is truly commendable! If I’m not misremembering, it appears you may have a connection to this dubious affair. This was undoubtedly a swindle, so tread carefully!

Beware of energy solutions based in London; they’re simply not to be trusted! This lot seem to be vying for a spot on the front pages as absolute frauds. They’re nothing more than a pack of scam merchants looking to make a quick buck off both the young and the elderly. It’s a complete rip-off, plain and simple. Avoid them like the plague; they’re just one big con after another!

Received a call from this number at 10.15 am on Sunday, 11th November. It was the same old routine - claiming they could fix issues we didn't have if only we’d provide them with some details. They insisted we speak to a manager, but when we expressed our doubt about their legitimacy, they suddenly threatened to cut off our internet connection by noon if we didn't comply! We hung up promptly.

Received a call today from someone with a heavy Asian accent claiming to represent the Windows Support team. I simply told them to clear off. Cheers for the heads-up!

I find myself in the same predicament. I received a call from two individuals with an Asian accent; one of them identified himself as Derek. They wanted to know how on earth they managed to get into my computer and see my issues. Quite frankly, I didn’t respond to their intrusive questions. They were extremely aggressive in their approach. I told the company that I would raise a complaint and ended the call. What’s the procedure for reporting this to the local authorities?

I filed a report with the police regarding a similar situation. These individuals are merely peddling what they call a "security solution", but it's as effective as a digital security layer on a dodgy computer. In fact, they gain access and completely mess things up on my machine. It's infuriating, really. They ended up conning my elderly relative out of £180. What a shambles!

I noticed that Malcom’s IP traced back to India. Quite the mystery, isn’t it? Shredder Blitz!

Hello there! We've just had a call from a chap named James Watson as well! Quite the coincidence, isn’t it? We've only just started using BT for our wireless broadband a few days ago, and there have been a few hiccups here and there. I was on the line with the BT customer service for a mere minute when Mr Watson decided to ring us up. Funny how that works out, especially since we were just chatting with BT's team in India a moment before! Keep your wits about you!

I received a call that sounded strikingly similar to the one mentioned earlier. We were actually utilising a laptop connected to a friend's Wi-Fi when this individual rang us and addressed us by our surname. The moment I picked up, she immediately shared the phone number and introduced herself as Michael Dzousa. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!
