Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent, talking about something to do with TPS. I played along and said, "So, you want my bank details so you can scam me, right?" He asked if I knew who he was, and I just told him straight, "Yeah, an online scammer. There’s loads of warnings about you lot online." Then he said he’d cancel my TPS and wished me a good day. They’d rung me about five times in a few hours, but that was the first time I picked up.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent working in what sounded like a hectic call centre. He claimed to be from the Telephone Preference Service and asked if I’d been bothered by any nuisance calls. I’m well aware it’s a scam - they want you to give bank details to charge you for a service you don’t need. So I replied, “No, no problems here, all’s good.” He must’ve stumbled over his script because he just hung up straight away. That number’s definitely on my block list now.

Got a call earlier today. Normally I let the answerphone pick up first, listen to whatever they say, then decide if I wanna answer. But this time, I just answered straight away. The person asked if my partner was around. I told them she wasn’t free right now and asked if I could pass on a message. Then they asked if I was a family member, which made me raise an eyebrow. There was a lot of background noise too, not like a normal call at all. Feeling a bit suspicious, I just ended the call pretty quickly. Maybe I was a bit abrupt, but it didn't feel right.

Today I actually picked up and spoke to a lady who was really pushy. She claimed to be from some 'Nuisance Calling' and wanted to update the expiry date on my debit card! I told her I have no business with them and wasn’t going to share any details. She got a bit annoyed, so I told her to stop calling and then ended the call. Fingers crossed they don’t bother me anymore.
