I had no idea who was on the other end of the line, but after going through the comments here, I’ve made up my mind to BLOCK that number.

We’ve implemented a caller ID system that mandates unfamiliar numbers to identify themselves before connecting. It’s quite evident that fraudsters tend to skip this step, so that call went unanswered. Pleased about that, especially considering all the alarming reports on this platform.

The call disconnected just as I was about to pick up.

I received a rather peculiar call from someone with a thick accent, informing me that my appliance insurance had lapsed. They were eager to entice me back with a discount if I paid a one-off sum of £149. Strange, isn’t it? I’ve now had three different calls, all from various numbers but all from the same individual spinning the same tale. Quite the coincidence!

Received a call from the company today claiming a professional was attempting to reach me, but alas, there was no one around to engage in conversation—just an automated message. What a bother!

I received a recorded message indicating that nobody was on hand to speak with me and that a callback would follow. Perusing through the remarks regarding this number, it seems to align with the domestic appliance insurance scam.

Received a call discussing dodgy transactions, alluding to penalties, and even brought up Amazon. Clearly, it's a bunch of unscrupulous fraudsters. I understand it's a number from the UK, so it would be great if the authorities could actually get off their backsides and take some action on this!

I recently encountered a dodgy call regarding insurance for white goods. When I inquired about what exactly was covered, she seemed rather lost for words. I pointed out that it felt like a scam, to which she vehemently disagreed. In the end, I decided to hang up on her.

I received a call from 02920958702, and they informed me that all their agents were currently occupied but promised to return my call shortly. To add to my unease, I don’t even have any appliance coverage, leading me to suspect it's a bit dodgy.

So, I received a call today from 029 2095 8702, claiming to be from Domestic & General. As I listened to their pitch, it all seemed a bit too good to be genuine, if you know what I mean. Just as I was considering my options, another mate of mine rang through, so I had to hang up. Later on, I got a message saying they’ll be giving me another ring tomorrow. I’ll be well-prepared for them!

It seems I've stumbled upon a rather dodgy home appliance warranty con! I asked the bloke to specify which appliances he was talking about, and all he did was insist they were registered at my place. Called him out as a fibber, yet he still wouldn't hang up. In the end, I took the matter into my own hands and ended the call.

Oh, not this again! It appears they’ve snagged themselves a whole set of numbers because I keep receiving calls from 029…00, 029…01, and now they’ve dialled me from 029…02! I usually let them ring through to my voicemail and then promptly block the lot. It’s starting all over with these pestering calls, which is quite tiresome, to say the least!

This con artist is running some sort of home insurance scam, clearly trying to fish for bank information. They just keep switching numbers and won’t take no for an answer. I’ve finally blocked the number, but it’s quite the nuisance!

I received yet another call from a woman claiming to be from Domestic Appliance Insurance. When I pressed her for details about what I had covered, she rattled off two items that I haven’t insured in ages. Clearly, their records are ridiculously outdated! It’s high time these sorts of scams were put to an end. This is the third time in as many months I’ve had to deal with this nonsense.

I received a rather dubious phone call today from someone claiming to represent the company that insures my appliances, which they clearly do not. They informed me that I was eligible for a discount, as I hadn't lodged any claims over the past year. Received a rather dodgy call claiming to have my home appliance insurance documents, pointing out that I hadn't made a claim in the past year. It reeked of a scam, especially since I could almost predict the next line would be a pitch for a so-called reduced premium for the upcoming year. The accent was distinctly foreign, which seems to be a common theme with these fraudulent calls.

They purport to be a firm offering insurance for my washing machine. They mentioned something about slashing my monthly premium! However, the figures they provided regarding my current payment were completely off. They intended to connect me with another person to wrap up some paperwork, which prompted me to end the call. Oddly enough, they rang me back immediately after!

I'm absolutely fed up with that robotic, cockney-sounding woman ringing me up, droning on about how she’ll "try again another day." Honestly, it would be splendid if she and her lot could a) kindly refrain from pestering me with such nonsensical rubbish, and b) take a long walk off a short pier! Have I expressed myself clearly enough, you disgraceful nuisance?

I keep getting daily phone calls from this woman, who claims she'll ring me back the next day. I've picked up a couple of times and let her know I’m not interested in appliance insurance, yet they persist in phoning me every single day. It's rather baffling! I wonder why on earth there's no action that can be taken against these persistent callers?
