These individuals are decidedly untrustworthy, so heed my warning and steer clear of them. They’ll try to convince you they're affiliated with O2 or Vodafone. It's vital to safeguard yourself from losing your phone. They're fully aware of the initial digits of your bank card, which is common knowledge. For instance, a Visa Electron card typically starts with 4917, while Maestro cards can begin with 6759. Don't fall into their trap. They think they’re being clever, but I can assure you, I’m always two steps ahead of their game.

Absolutely! We experienced something remarkably similar. Just last Friday (the 4th of January, 2008), our phone rang at precisely 10:24 am, and it startled us from our slumber! Naturally, we answered, but to our dismay, we had our headphones plugged in and were left completely in the dark-couldn’t hear a word! After what seemed like an eternity, the caller hung up. By the time we dashed back to check, there wasn't a soul on the other end to respond. How annoying!

I had a missed call from this number today. Just wanted to mention that my contract is barely a month old!

We experienced a missed call from this number as well! When I tried ringing them back, all I got was a constant engaged tone in the background. Quite strange, to be honest! I'm on O2, got my contract through their online shop!

To all you folks at Guardian, why not consider finding proper employment instead of wallowing about in that outbound call centre? It’s hard to fathom what you think you’re achieving there. Honestly, it’s a shambolic place with inadequate pay, and I can’t quite grasp how you see any future in that line of work. The whole set-up stinks, from the poor location to the lacklustre career prospects. Do yourselves a favour-stop taking shortcuts and put your efforts into securing jobs that actually mean something. It’s high time folks like you stepped up! You deserve better than being stuck in that call centre rut!

We’ve been receiving calls on our eleven-year-old's phone, which is quite shocking as it's a brand new contract. It’s utterly unacceptable that these callers are aware it’s a child’s device yet continue to make contact. Such behaviour should really be prohibited!

Absolutely right! I got my phone from Carphone Warehouse, and it's just been a month since I got it with O2. I’ve already had about nine calls from various numbers, including this one. They're all trying to push insurance on me. They’ll likely keep at it, but you may need to firmly tell them to leave you alone! Hope this info is useful to everyone!

I received a call from 02920936008, with the caller purporting to be from Vodafone. They wanted to know how satisfied we were with our service and attempted to verify our details. At that point, we decided to hang up. We never divulge personal information unless we’ve initiated contact first. Best to steer clear of these types of calls!

I find it exceedingly frustrating that these individuals keep ringing me! They keep asking about our phone contract, which I only signed up for a month back. It’s been nothing but nuisance calls and bothersome telemarketers! I certainly wouldn't suggest opting for Vodafone to anyone, and I won’t be dealing with Phones4U in the future. I think I’ll just revert to Orange from now on!

I recently received a call from a company called Guardian Mp3, which turns out to be an insurance provider. They seem to have a habit of contacting random numbers, and when we inquired about how they obtained our number, it became apparent that it was part of a new batch of numbers they were working with, specifically 0798. They appear to generate the final digits to compile a list to sell insurance products. The sales representatives were quite pushy, though I suppose that’s par for the course. I've also noticed that this number, 02920936009, has been reported on here as well.

Indeed, we received our phone just a couple of days ago and have already clocked up around ten missed calls from these folks! The trick I’ve found is to never pick up for any number that’s not saved in your contacts. It’s really quite straightforward.

I’m absolutely fed up with these persistent callers! They keep ringing me up asking about our phone contract, which I only arranged a month ago. It's been nothing but nuisance calls and irritating attempts at selling me something! Honestly, I can't recommend Vodafone to anyone, and I'm definitely steering clear of Phones4U in the future. I’ll be sticking to Orange from now on!

Hi everyone, just thought I'd share my experience. We've been bombarded with calls from 02920 468 908 all day, and the moment we answer, they hang up. When we try to ring back, all we hear is some bizarre fax-like sound. Has anyone else encountered calls from this number? Cheers!

I had a bit of a laugh with this one; it only lasted a couple of minutes. I could hear some sort of busy atmosphere in the background-sounded a bit like a warehouse-before they abruptly hung up!
