Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent claiming to be from TalkTalk’s tech support, telling me my internet was being hacked and that was why it was running slow. Didn’t buy it one bit and just ended the call. Sounds like the typical scam you’d expect after that big TalkTalk data leak exposed customer info.

Caller claimed to be from BT but had a funny accent, so I just hung up. Same kind of call happened before where someone from India said our wifi was hacked or something. Didn’t fall for it, ended the call straight away and added them to block list using BT call protect.
