I received an unsolicited call regarding our name popping up on a creditors’ list related to a liquidation process. Even though we’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service, it seems they’ve decided to overlook that!

Had a call from Credit Safe earlier. A woman claimed she was reaching out for someone and mentioned that her email attempt had failed to deliver. Naturally, this sounded like one of those unsolicited sales pitches, so I ended up providing her with a generic email address instead. Bit cheeky, really!

PLEASE CHECK THE EARLIER COMMENTS!!!! This phone number is authentic. It's bothersome and may skirt the edges of legality, but it isn't a scammer's number. It’s better to just block it rather than bothering the police with claims of a scam.

It appears this is CreditSafe. I once held an account with them, and despite repeatedly requesting that they stop contacting me and erase my number from their records, they still seem intent on pestering me.

Sounds like a dodgy lot, if you ask me. I happened to miss their call too, and there wasn’t a voicemail left to explain themselves. That number, 02920886500, is a bit suspect—what area code is that, anyway? There’s a fair bit of negative chatter about them on this site. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number for my peace of mind!

I received a call from a number labelled as Creditsafe, and the caller inquired about a chap named Stephen Minchen. I promptly informed them they'd dialled the wrong number and requested no further contact. Subsequently, I blocked the number.

Someone contacted me regarding some supposed activity on my business account. That's simply not feasible since the account is currently frozen. I ended the call abruptly. This could potentially lead to massive financial losses.

A right pain of a call! Just the typical scenario – they disconnected as soon as I picked up the phone.

Claimed they needed to have a word with a director about some irregularity on the company’s credit file. Utter nonsense. I’ve blocked them.

CreditSafe - I have an authentic business connection with CreditSafe and was anticipating this call after receiving an email from my account manager. However, it's worth noting that scammers may disguise their numbers to impersonate CreditSafe. Rest assured, CreditSafe is a bona fide and licensed credit reference agency.

I received a couple of missed calls from this number earlier. Following that, I received both an email and a voicemail from BT Cloud Work requesting that I return their call. It's quite peculiar, as I've noticed that others are reporting this number being linked to Credit Safe instead.

I've received a second call from this firm, and let me tell you, the response I got was utterly ridiculous. When I pointed out that their number felt like harassment, the caller seemed rather offended. To top it off, she let out a rather childish raspberry before abruptly ending the call. Such a mark of professionalism, isn't it?

I received a call from Credit Safe, where they alleged that there was something untoward on our credit report, but they were being completely dishonest. They requested to have a word with one of our directors, using his name as if they were acquainted. It’s clearly a ruse.

Just got an email that purported to be from Creditsafe, coming from this number. It said that if I hadn't asked for my account details, I should ring 02920 886500. I definitely didn’t request anything, and something felt off about the whole thing. So, I decided to check this site, and it turns out I’m not the only one—plenty of others have encountered the same issue.

Had a rather disconcerting finding on our financial report courtesy of Credit Safe – what a swindler! It's absolutely crucial that I get in touch with the director, but I'll try again in a few days. It can't be that pressing after all. They seem to be suggesting that the director is quite chummy with him. Definitely smells like a scam!

I received a rather odd inquiry from Credit Safe regarding one of our directors, merely using their first name. It seemed like a right load of nonsense, especially with claims about cheques being issued on the company's behalf. It appears they're willing to spin any tale to reach a director. As a result, I've now blocked their number.

I’m a bit perplexed by this chap who's made his way into my LinkedIn connections overnight. I can't quite recall his name, but he shot me a message referencing a recent post of mine. He mentioned that my company's credit report had garnered a surprising amount of attention—what a load of nonsense! After all, my business is still in its infancy, having only launched a few months ago.

Just received a call from Creditsafe, and they seem to know our CEO's first name. I could hear some loud rap music blaring in the background, which clearly suggests that whoever is on the line is ‘working’ from home—perhaps the company doesn’t have the budget for a proper call centre. I reckon it’s best to either disregard the call or just block the number altogether.

"Credit Safe" just informed me that our business's credit score has taken a nosedive and they've reached out to our clients about it. Absolute nonsense! They were incredibly pushy, refused to listen to my objections, and kept interrupting me. Eventually, I had no option but to hang up on them.

I've been told that I ought to be vetting my clients according to the fourth directive by HMRC, as mandated under GDPR. It seems a bit absurd, doesn’t it? I mean, they say all self-employed folks are basically up to no good, or so the narrative goes. But let’s face it, those who are truly shady tend to operate off the books anyway. Honestly, it's all rather nonsensical.

Received a rather dubious call regarding an unusual influx of credit inquiries tied to our business. The caller, identifying themselves as being from "Credit Safe UK", insisted on speaking exclusively to our financial director. We found it quite suspect, as we're fully aware that everything regarding our credit status is perfectly fine. Definitely sounds like a scam!

We've been deliberately avoiding calls from these individuals and have just received a bill for £5.74 in the post. We've had no conversation with them whatsoever! As soon as their number popped up on our caller ID, we did a quick online search and it looks like they might be trying to pull a fast one. What would be the best course of action for us now?
