Naturally, this sounded like one of those unsolicited sales pitches, so I ended up providing her with a generic email address instead. Bit cheeky, really!

PLEASE CHECK THE EARLIER COMMENTS!!!! This phone number is authentic. It's bothersome and may skirt the edges of legality, but it isn't a scammer's number. It’s better to just block it rather than bothering the police with claims of a scam.

It appears this is CreditSafe. I once held an account with them, and despite repeatedly requesting that they stop contacting me and erase my number from their records, they still seem intent on pestering me.

Sounds like a dodgy lot, if you ask me. I happened to miss their call too, and there wasn’t a voicemail left to explain themselves. That number, 02920886500, is a bit suspect—what area code is that, anyway? There’s a fair bit of negative chatter about them on this site. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number for my peace of mind!

I received a call from a number labelled as Creditsafe, and the caller inquired about a chap named Stephen Minchen. I promptly informed them they'd dialled the wrong number and requested no further contact. Subsequently, I blocked the number.

I've now reported Creditsafd to the police for breaching the Prevention of Harassment Act. Furthermore, I've requested the FCA and Prudential Regulation Authority to look into the numerous complaints filed against them.

I've received a second call from this firm, and let me tell you, the response I got was utterly ridiculous. When I pointed out that their number felt like harassment, the caller seemed rather offended. To top it off, she let out a rather childish raspberry before abruptly ending the call. I received a call from Credit Safe, where they alleged that there was something untoward on our credit report, but they were being completely dishonest. They requested to have a word with one of our directors, using his name as if they were acquainted. It’s clearly a ruse.

Had a rather disconcerting finding on our financial report courtesy of Credit Safe – what a swindler! It's absolutely crucial that I get in touch with the director, but I'll try again in a few days. It can't be that pressing after all. They seem to be suggesting that the director is quite chummy with him. Definitely smells like a scam!

I received a rather odd inquiry from Credit Safe regarding one of our directors, merely using their first name. It seemed like a right load of nonsense, especially with claims about cheques being issued on the company's behalf. It appears they're willing to spin any tale to reach a director. As a result, I've now blocked their number.

Just received a call from Creditsafe, and they seem to know our CEO's first name. I could hear some loud rap music blaring in the background, which clearly suggests that whoever is on the line is ‘working’ from home—perhaps the company doesn’t have the budget for a proper call centre. I find it wise to disregard calls from unfamiliar numbers, as I opted to do today. There's really no point in answering; save yourself the hassle and simply add the caller to your blocked contacts.
