I got a call from some guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from Microsoft, saying my computer was having issues. I played along for a bit, then said I don’t even own a computer. He didn't take that well and told me to shove off before hanging up. Made me chuckle, but honestly, I wish I’d been the one to tell him off first!

The guy just started shouting, asking if I couldn't understand English. I told him to mind his manners and asked why he was yelling at me, then hung up straight away. Proper scam, that is. If I catch him, I’ll give him what for.

Today I got rung twice by this number saying they were from Windows. First time I told them to call me back as I needed to have a word with my brother. When they phoned again I told them I thought it was a scam and mentioned I’d be contacting the police, then they just dropped the call.

Got a call from an Asian lady claiming there was something wrong with my computer. I acted like I was following her instructions, just going along with it. Then I told her I was actually a computer engineer working for Microsoft. Guess what? She hung up straight away! Received a ring from this number, an Asian chap, who was adamant he wanted to chat with me rather than my partner. After a bit of digging, I’ve realised that the only entity likely to have my details, given that I’m the one in charge of accounts, is none other than SKY. Now I’m left pondering whether SKY has offloaded my personal information to third parties, which might explain these incessant calls. Interestingly, all the other utility accounts are in my partner’s name, and he’s not being bothered at all. Just a curious notion, really.

Just received a rather dodgy call from someone with a strong foreign accent, trying to persuade me to give them access to my computer. I told him straight, “Do you really think I'm that gullible?” before hanging up. Since then, I've had two more calls from the same number - the bloke keeps greeting me, but there's so much background racket and he's chuckling away before abruptly ending the call. Quite the oddball, isn't he?

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was John Carter from Windows about an issue with my computer. He wanted to know who the owner was, so I said Father Christmas. Then he asked who uses it the most, and I told him Mickey Mouse. When I started chuckling, he just ended the call!

today, 15/2/2016, this number rang me, but the moment i picked up, they just dropped the call. it’s not the first occasion they've phoned me and I bet it won't be the last either. really irritating, honestly.

Today (08/02/16) I got a call from someone called David John claiming to be from Windows. He said there was a problem or a virus on my PC and asked me to switch it on so he could ‘fix it’. I told him I wasn’t going to do that and warned I’d report the number 02920852883 to both Microsoft and the fraud cops, just like other dodgy calls I’ve had before.
