I saw a missed call from 029 2053 9162 Cardiff, Wales, but didn’t pick up. Later I looked the number up and it seemed like a dodgy phone contract scam. So I just blocked it straight away. Honestly, best thing is to ignore these cold call scammers - don’t waste your time chatting with them. Just let the phone keep ringing or send it to voicemail, then block and move on.

Somebody called me about a phone deal or something, said there was a one-off offer. The signal was really poor, so it was tough to understand much.

Terrible call, could barely understand a word because of that strong Hindi accent, just nonsense really. My bank keeps pushing this voice recognition stuff on me, but calls like these make me think they're just sneaky people trying to steal your voice data. Honestly, I really can't stand how things are going these days.

My phone flagged this number as spam and maybe a scam, so I didn’t pick up. Seeing the other comments, I think my phone was right to warn me and ignoring these calls is probably best. I’ve heard scammers can use your voice to pretend to be you, just by getting you to say "yes" or something simple. So it’s probably easier to just block or avoid any calls from private or withheld numbers to save yourself the trouble.
