I received a call from someone claiming to be with Legal and General, associated with Birmingham Midshire, concerning our mortgage application. I mentioned that I was in a meeting at the time, and without a hint of politeness, the caller simply hung up on me. When I called back, the person who answered said they'd ring again if they needed anything. I tried to find out what the purpose of their call was, but they cut me off once more. Quite unprofessional, if you ask me!
