I received a voicemail from the Penylan Library, which is connected to Cardiff Council. I'm assuming they've dialled my number by mistake since I don't actually reside in Wales!

I caught a faint sound, almost like someone breathing on the line. When I called out a cheerful "Hello", there was nothing but silence. So, I decided to hang up!

I've had a few calls from 029 2044 7800 while I was behind the wheel, so I couldn't pick up. Once I got home, they buzzed my number again, this time asking to speak to a Rhianna Davis. I informed them that they'd dialled incorrectly, and they were quite polite and regretful about the mix-up.

Clearly, it’s not some dodgy scam – it’s a proper response from the council itself!
