Just listened to a message left on my answerphone from Friday 6th July 2019, only caught it tonight, Monday evening. It was a woman’s voice saying something like “you’re gonna d##” and then the call ended abruptly. Quite creepy!

Got a couple of calls from Cardiff numbers, I think 02920306669 and 02920254271 might be connected. The first one mentioned something about ISA but wouldn’t say who they represented. The second call just rang out, nobody picked up.

I received a call from 029 2025 4271, claiming to be in touch with my life insurance provider regarding some supposedly positive news. The caller was insistent that I could lower my payments while receiving more coverage, but all he required was the name of my insurer. Given my cancer diagnosis and ongoing treatment, the entire conversation felt utterly nonsensical to me. I pointed out that if my insurer had indeed contacted him, he would already know which company I was with. I firmly told him I had no time for scammers like him. To my astonishment, he responded quite rudely, telling me to “bugger off” and used some rather offensive language before hanging up. What an atrocious experience! - caller: 02920254271

I received a call inquiring whether I was still with Aviva and they wanted me to verify my previous address. I went along with the questions, answering positively until they appeared to lose patience and simply ended the call. This happened on the 6th of July at half past nine in the morning.

I got a call from someone asking if I was still insured with Aviva and if my address was right. I just agreed with all their questions until they eventually gave up and hung up. They keep ringing me every day but from different numbers, trying out all kinds of scams. It's really annoying!

Got a call claiming to be from British Gas, saying they had some important info but wanted me to confirm my address and who supplies my electricity first. I told them that if they’re the ones ringing, they should have that info already! Then they just hung up. They ring me nearly every day, but it’s always from a different number, mostly UK mobiles; this is the first time the number showed as Cardiff though. I block each one, but another pops up soon after. It’s super annoying, and this has been happening on and off for 3 or 4 months now, maybe even longer.

This bloke said his name was “Alan” and left a message saying something about Nationwide wanting to confirm and update my info. The weird thing is, I’ve never had an account with Nationwide. When I asked him why they’d need to do that, he suddenly turned quite rude.
