8 yearsAbout an hour before the call mentioned, I got a ring from 029 2161 7478. It was an automated voice pretending to be from Microsoft, warning me that my internet was at risk. Something about it felt off, so I just ended the call. Then, roughly an hour later, someone with a foreign accent phoned from 029 2022 8620 and started repeating similar warnings about my internet. I didn't entertain it and hung up again. This isn’t the first time I’ve had these fake Microsoft calls - automated followed by a real person on the line. The first time it happened, a few months back, I pushed the caller and they dropped the call straight away. I never believed the story and since then, no issues have popped up with my internet or pc.
