It warned me that my internet was compromised with viruses and would be cut off within a day or two. Naturally, my curiosity got the better of me, so I pressed 1 to carry on. Oh, the joy of these unsolicited calls! I could see through this ruse immediately. The caller insisted that I needed to download some software called Supremo for remote access to my device, but I stood my ground, expressing my hesitance as I had no idea what this programme entailed. After a tedious argument lasting a good ten minutes, the call abruptly dropped. I thought that was the end of my misadventure, but lo and behold, I received another call almost instantly from a different number (01237360666). We engaged in yet another five-minute discussion before I firmly informed the caller that I was onto their little scheme. Unsurprisingly, the call ended shortly after that.BT Technical Department5 yearsI missed the call and, seeing as I'm not with BT, I took a peek at what others are saying. Looks like it's a scam, according to their experiences.BTSubmit Your Own Report (029 2022 0698)
