I've made the leap from Eon Next due to their abysmal customer service. They've ramped up my payments significantly even though gas prices are on the decline. After firing off an email to them, there was absolutely no response. I tried again, urging them to resolve the issue or I’d take my business elsewhere, but they just brushed me off. Someone rang me claiming to be from E.on next. I phoned E.on themselves and they said it’s definitely not them. They told me to block the number. The caller said he was from E.On, but his accent was really strong and definitely not Welsh, even though he claimed to be based in Cardiff. The phone line kept cutting out, so I had to ask him to repeat himself multiple times. In the end, I found out he was ringing because I’d requested to switch suppliers. The whole chat just made me even happier about leaving E.On, cos if this is how they deal with customers they want to keep, I can't imagine the service if I actually needed something. I was only with them because my previous supplier folded. Proper glad to be moving on now.

I received a voicemail from this number (02920099248) urging recipients to press a specific digit to indicate that they no longer wish to receive calls. The message claimed to be from EON customer services, but after reaching out to EON, it was confirmed that it's a hoax. I'd strongly advise against engaging with anything unless you're absolutely certain of its authenticity. Trust me, I speak from personal experience as my complete details were compromised by South Staffs Water.

I've noticed this number calling me several times. Finally, my curiosity got the better of me, and I picked up. The chap on the other end was speaking at lightning speed, and I had to ask him to slow down since I struggle with my hearing! I wasn't quite sure who it was, so I mentioned that I was overseas and that he'd need to ring me back later. From what I've gathered from previous comments, it seems to be EON, especially since I've recently shifted homes and shut my account with them.
