A few days back, I received a rather unexpected call from a lady who was conducting some sort of 'national lifestyle survey.' To be honest, I wasn't really in the frame of mind to chat about that sort of thing, so I politely declined. Now, it would have been fine if that had been the end of it, but lo and behold, she rang me up again the very next day with the same plea! And guess what? Today, she’s back at it once more. If I get another call like this tomorrow, I shall have no choice but to block the number entirely. Honestly, the persistence is rather off-putting!
