some bloke rang saying it was about my life insurance with aviva. i told him straight away to put me on their no-call list and never ring me again. afterwards, i contacted aviva myself and asked them to block that number. they assured me they don’t pass info to other businesses. definitely a scam going on here.

They keep calling non-stop, like 5 or 6 times every single day.

Usually, I avoid picking up calls from unknown numbers. If it’s urgent, they’d surely drop a voicemail. This particular number has rung me multiple times but never left any message, so I reckon it’s not that pressing. I’ve now gone ahead and blocked it.

I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise and, in this case, they didn’t leave a voicemail either. I noticed I had some missed calls from that number on my phone, so before I thought about ringing back, I tried searching the number online but couldn’t come across any details at all.

I think I got scammed by a debt management company, they kept asking for money and then just disappeared. Seriously feels like a total rip off. Be careful if you get calls from these kinds of firms!
