Loads of calls keep coming through saying they're from Origin Energy or Alliance Insurance, trying to get my account details and all that. It really set off alarm bells when I checked the callback number they gave - it starts with 131 *** but that’s nowhere near the official number for either company. So, of course, I didn’t go near any of the links they wanted me to click on.

I got a call from someone asking me who my electricity and gas provider was. Felt a bit dodgy and too nosy to me, so I just ended the call straight away.

They've rung me twice but I never picked up. No messages were left on my voicemail either! When I tried ringing back, it told me "person at extension ... is unavailable". Sounds like a scam to me!
