i got a call from what sounded like a hectic call centre. the person on the other end had my name and address which was a bit creepy. he mentioned i was paying £7 for something called ‘tv maintenance’ and offered to lower it to £5. once i told him i don’t actually pay anything for tv maintenance, he just dropped the call. definitely felt like a pretty basic scam to me.
