some guy rang me saying he was from the council housing dept, asking about any damp or bad living conditions in my place. he mentioned he worked with lambeth council but also said things about other areas like liverpool and london. his accent was really thick indian, made it hard to get what he was saying sometimes. felt like he was just trying to fish for info, so my advice is don't pick up if you get a call like that.

I keep getting calls daily from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from some London housing association. It's so annoying and no one seems able to do anything about it. These companies using free phone numbers should really be made illegal because they just fake their location and say they're calling from abroad.

He claimed to be from Haringey Council and said they’d cleared the walkway outside, but I had no idea what he was on about. I’m sure I never gave the council my landline number, so how on earth did they get it? Felt pretty fishy to me.
