Since the 7th of November 2014, I've had this number ring me about 18 times, often showing an international prefix before 0044. I've never picked up because I'm usually not in, but if I was, I'd be properly annoyed by now.

They've rung us a couple of times today, and loads more over the past month. Our number's an X-Directory one and we're definitely on the TPS list. When I asked where they'd found our number, they just said "a public database." I pressed for specifics, pointing out that this number shouldn’t be listed anywhere public since it’s X-Directory - and again, the same vague answer: "public database." I told them to take it off their records completely and make sure they never call again. The bloke said he’d sort it, again blaming the "public database." Clearly, he lied ‘cause the calls haven’t stopped. My poorly mum even answered today and didn’t hold back telling them where to shove it. I seriously doubt they’ll care though.

A few weeks back, I got a call where they said if I took their survey, my number would be taken off their list. I wasn't really keen but did it anyway. After that, I started getting loads of calls from the very firms they’d talked about, asking me to do surveys! My voicemail is now stuffed with these numbers marked as spam, and a few are labelled with some not-so-friendly names. Needless to say, the calls from UK Habits haven't stopped yet.

i usually just invent a fake name, address and postcode when these idiots who buy the data ring me, like the times or whoever. then i tell them exactly where they nabbed the fake details from and warn them i'll report them to the tps for bothering me. seems to do the trick because they end up taking my number off their list. i go for some daft name like mr singh singer or something daft like that lol.

Got a call from 0289568002 claiming to be from 1uk habits. The person on the other end sounded Indian and their English was really bad. Honestly, they didn’t seem very bright at all. Felt like with minimal effort I could have ended up with her bank info or something!

Today has been awful, getting loads of calls even after i told them to leave me alone. I even said i had a really ill kid at home, but they just keep ringing.
