Right away, I could hear background noise like a call centre, and the guy on the other end spoke super fast, mumbling and slurring words together so badly I couldn’t make out half of what he said. He rattled off my name, address, and number, which was creepy. Twice I asked who he was working for, but couldn’t get a clear answer. I honestly thought it was delivery related until he suddenly asked if I was self-employed, working, or retired. Tried to keep the convo going with questions, but he just kept blabbering his nonsense. Then he started talking over me, which really annoyed me - it’s like waving a red flag in front of a bull (and I bet Judge Judy hates that too).
