Got a call supposedly from O2 saying they had a special discount for me. Turned out to be a scam. Watch out!

So this number popped up on my phone, and normally I’d just block or ignore anything that looks dodgy, but since it said Ballyclare, I didn’t think twice at first. When I picked up, I could hear some people chuckling in the background. I kept saying hello, but they just kept giggling before one voice said something about the ‘audit department’. I asked them to repeat where they were calling from, and then they just hung up on me. No clue how they got hold of my number, but it definitely felt like some kind of scam.

This was definitely a scam from EE. The moment I told them I wasn’t buying it and called them out, they got annoying and I just ended the call.

Got a few calls from this number earlier today, but every time I picked up, there was nothing but silence. I even rang them back, and their voicemail said it was from Utility Warehouse or something like that. Bit suspicious, if you ask me.
