It's the same rubbish all over again. Honestly, how long are we meant to put up with these scammers before the authorities step in?

So I just got a call claiming Windows is gonna take £367 out of my bank or credit card tomorrow. They said press 1 to chat with someone or press 2 to make changes or whatever. Same old rubbish, just a different twist. I decided to hang on the line as long as possible to try and make their phone bill sky high. What idiots!

Got a call from a robotic voice claiming my IP was hacked, so I played along and picked some options just to see what would happen. Turns out I was spot on. It was some "Simon" from Microsoft calling all the way from Delhi. Thought about messing with him for a bit longer but lost interest quickly. Basically, they'll try to trick you into giving them remote access through something like TeamViewer so they can snoop through your stuff and probably install malware or keyloggers. Heads up - Microsoft won't ring you up saying your computer is infected or at risk.

Got this robotic voice message again, something mumbling about my internet going down but never saying which company, so dull and repetitive.

Got a robotic call claiming my Microsoft Windows subscription needs renewing and that £367 will be taken from my bank tomorrow. Then it told me to press 1 or 2 if I wanted to update my info. Totally dodgy!

I just got a bunch of recorded calls saying my antivirus subscription was running out. Definitely sounded fishy to me. Has anyone else had these annoying messages about protection ending? I think it’s some sort of scam.
