someone called me claiming his name was alan, had a sort of asian accent and said he worked for a company called call guardian from the uk. he said i could get lifetime protection from annoying calls. he insisted i was paying £7 a month for this service (which i definitely am not) and asked me to give my credit card expiry date, saying it was already on file with them. when i started asking more about the business, he just hung up on me.
