Watch out, these crooks are dangerous scammers preying on older people. Stay cautious!

Got a robo call saying our internet security was at risk and they'd cut us off within a day. They told us to hit 1 to talk to an engineer - which we ignored. We rang the broadband provider ourselves, and guess what? It wasn’t from them at all!

had pretty much the same thing happen to me, i just hung up. i guess if you let it get to you it might cause issues.

I got a recorded message saying my internet was hacked from different countries and that it’d be disconnected within 24 hours. They said to press 1 if I wanted to talk to a person. Of course, I didn’t press anything.
