I had a rather dodgy call the other day; they were attempting to convince me they were affiliated with my mobile provider, O2. They were quite persistent in their efforts, but thankfully, I saw right through it! Their aim seemed to be to gain access to my account, all the while offering me a dubious ‘upgrade’ and requesting the verification code they had allegedly sent me. Not falling for that, I must say!

Got a code from O2 for verification, so I’m sure its legit. The caller guessed my monthly bill correctly without me telling him a thing. O2 took 30% off my bill.
