My phone showed a warning for possible scam, so I just ignored the call and blocked the number. Don’t know anyone from Belfast anyway, so I thought best to be safe.

Received a voicemail from this number but barely made out anything. It seemed like a man and a woman were talking, but it was super quiet. Not planning to call back. I've just blocked it now.

Somebody rang claiming they were from a tenants association, but I told them I’m in the UK, not Ireland. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Someone called me saying they were from Citizens Advice but as soon as I started asking questions, they just ended the call. Definitely not the real Citizens Advice.

some bloke with an american accent called saying he was from citizens advice and said i owe money, so i said i dont, he just kept going on about how ive got debts. i told him citizens advice dont call people out of the blue and they wouldnt have my number anyway coz ive never dealt with them. he kept insisting ive got debts and said if i talk to him he could sort it out. wouldnt take no for an answer, kept demanding stuff like how much i earn and my bank details to arrange a payment plan. i just hung up, blocked the number and reported it to the cops as fraud.

The person who rang obviously didn't bother leaving a message, so no clue what kind of scam it was! Just one of those annoying unknown calls.

Got a call from what sounded like an Indian call centre, maybe? They actually asked for me by name and seemed quite polite, but honestly, not interested. I'm just gonna block that number 😤

After I’d blocked one number, this new one rang straight away. They were telling me to give my details to the previous caller. The first call came from Leeds, and this one was from London. The first person said they were outside waiting to drop off a parcel I supposedly ordered, but I live over 70 miles away from that area. Plus, they rang me at 2 in the morning! Total scam attempt, no doubt about it.

After receiving two missed calls, I decided to return the call, only to encounter a robotic voice informing me that the number had been disconnected due to a supposed breach of contract. Apparently, it was being used from outside the UK - definitely sounds like a scam to me!
