this call was just some kind of scam, they were honestly trying to get money out of me. pretty sketchy stuff.

I hung up pretty quick once the answering machine started talking.

Just got a call from some woman with a strong American accent, sounding really stressed, saying Amazon Prime's gonna charge me 39.95 (didn't even say which currency). She honestly seemed more like a hostage than someone trying to scam me. Feels like she's stuck in some awful situation. Maybe Jeff Bezos should step up and sort this out for her.

They claimed to be Amazon but I hung up straight away.

Today I got a couple of calls, each from different numbers, both claiming to be from Amazon Prime. One of the numbers was 02380454727. Since I’m not an Amazon Prime member, I just ended the call straight away.
