Got a call from someone claiming to be my TV insurance provider, asking for my bank details so I could pay a smaller fee. Thing is, I don’t even have insurance with them in the first place!

This is the first time I’ve had a call from this number. When I didn’t pick up and my answerphone kicked in, they just hung up straight away. Looks like I’ll be getting loads more calls like this one, alongside the dozen or so other annoying ones I get every day. If you do pick up, don’t share any info with them, no matter what they ask.
