This is a fraud, they pretend to be from Amazon trying to get your bank info. They say someone tried to order a £399 phone using your details, and they tell you to download this remote access app called ANYDESK. If you dont, they say theyll go ahead with the order and send the phone to 88 Newgate Street, London, EC1A 7AJ. Watch out!

028 8601 0707 - was constantly ringing like every 5 minutes while I was busy at work so I didn’t pick up. The next day it kept happening, so I finally answered and got an Asian woman on the line saying she was from Amazon about an iPhone I supposedly bought for £399! I told her I never did that, called her a scammer and she just hung up. Blocked the number immediately after.

Over the last week, I've received several calls from this number. Today, I finally answered and an individual with an Indian accent introduced himself as Tommy. He claimed to be from Amazon’s Security Department. I told him to remove my name from their list and promptly hung up before blocking the number. It's worth noting that Amazon clearly states on their website that they will never make calls like this. Definitely a scam!

Next time, it was a woman with a strong Asian accent pretending to be from Amazon about Prime and charging about £79 a month, or something like that. Told her I’ve never even had an Amazon account and barely got the words out before she cut off.
