7 yearsToday at about 1.20 pm, this number rang me up. The person claimed to be from the bank, asking if I’d approved a £600 payment, and if not, to press I. My husband, who has dementia, happened to answer from his room at the same time, but I quickly ended the call before he could respond. I warned him it was a scam and told him to never pick up if he doesn’t recognise the caller - though I doubt he’ll remember this by tomorrow!
