I got a call from a number starting with c0955, the woman claimed she was from Global. She tried to confirm my address but I asked what right she had to ask a stranger for that info. Just like that, she ended the call.

Got a call from a woman with an accent from South Asia who said she was from TalkTalk, telling me there was an issue with my internet. I told her to send me an email with the info before I believe anything. After a moment's pause, she just ended the call. I reckon the best way to handle these dodgy calls is to ask for an email - scammers usually can't do that cause they don't have proper contact details.
