I encountered this relentless scam artist who insisted he had identified some faults with my Talk Talk broadband service. The irony? I'm not even a Talk Talk customer; I use a different provider altogether!

Got a call out of the blue. Didn't ask for it or anything.

This is definitely a con. They said they were from TalkTalk and that there was an issue with my broadband, but I reckon they just wanted to get into my computer remotely. I didn’t let them do anything though and have already passed their number on to TalkTalk.

Got a call from someone shouting threats and swearing loads. Proper aggressive on the phone.

The person on the phone sounded like they had a Pakistani accent. I didn’t really catch what they were saying and then they just ended the call.
