Got a call from this number at 12:56 but no one said a word. Definitely a scam.

A gentleman called Edward gave me a ring, saying he wanted to do a short survey to check if my house fit the latest green energy guidelines. He mentioned he could help me cut down on my energy costs and assured me he wasn’t trying to sell anything. When I asked which company he was from, he said UK Solar Scheme. I told him I wasn’t keen. Then he mentioned energy prices might go up again next year and asked if I wanted to carry on. I politely declined, and he thanked me for my time before saying goodbye. I’m on the TPS list, by the way.

If a call comes through showing Londonderry and you’ve no one there you know, just hang up. They’ll keep ringing for a bit but will stop eventually. Don’t bother blocking the number though, cos they can see that and then just call from a different one. Best thing is to just not answer and ignore any scam calls!

Got a call from some telemarketer but they just cut off as soon as I picked up. Definitely BLOCKING that number.

They’ve rung me about 11 times from Londonderry but I’ve never picked up, and there’s never been a message left either. I’m just gonna block the number now.
