Just the other day, I received an unexpected call from a company that seems a bit iffy. It was precisely a day after I reached out to a couple of builders in my area for quotes on some work for my driveway. They identified themselves as "Vinyl" driveways or something along those lines. A lady on the line queried whether I was the property owner and if I was over the age of 18. When I probed a bit further about their intentions, she promptly hung up on me. It's quite evident that they’re up to no good-some dodgy driveway scam originating from Londonderry, if you ask me.

Then it shifted into what felt like a recorded message asking if I was under 80 (I said no, I’m actually 95) and if my partner was under 80 (also no, she’s 92). Then the call just dropped. Sounds dodgy to me, watch out for scams like this. Both ages mentioned were totally made up!
