Got a call from some bloke called Norman Shaw - or at least that’s what he said - had a thick Indian accent and said he was from Windows operating systems. Told me my computer was infected with a virus. He tried to get me to press ctrl+r so he could access my PC, but I didn’t fall for it. Instead, I kept him on the line chatting for about 9 and a half minutes. Not the longest I’ve managed before they finally hung up though.

Got a call from a bloke with a sort of subcontinental accent saying he was from the windows help desk and wanted to sort out my PC. Thing is, my computer ain’t even got windows on it, so i thought that was a bit dodgy. When i told him that, he just hung up on me. Pretty weird situation.

I picked up the phone today and there was absolute silence before the caller just went straight to hanging up. Strange!
