I got a call from a woman with a thick accent saying they’d started blocking my unwanted calls (how do they even figure out what’s unwanted??) and I wouldn’t be getting any more of them. Then she said she needed to ‘verify my info’ and when I asked why, she got really irate and raised her voice, claiming the government demanded those details. I told her she was daft if she thought I was gonna fall for her nonsense. As I hung up, she was yelling at me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Call Guardian, saying they just wanted to make sure I wouldn’t get any more annoying calls. Then they started asking the usual stuff you’d expect from a marketing survey - things like how old I am, what I earn and if I own a home. I didn’t feel comfortable sharing, so I just said no.
