Just got a call from an overseas number. No idea who it was, kinda random!

it’s so frustrating cause they keep calling and then hang up as soon as you pick up. really bad timing especially with someone who has dementia around.

i picked up the phone and at first there was just silence, then a voice asked if i was (my christian anne used). after that they went quiet again, so i just ended the call.

They rang me twice, once at 8 in the morning and again at 10.

This 02825 821542 number keeps ringing me non-stop but as soon as I pick up, they hang up straight away. I’ve never shared my number with anyone and I’m definitely on the do not call list, so this is really frustrating. I made sure I never agreed to be contacted by any delivery services either, so why do I keep getting bombarded? Surely, these companies should be sticking to the rules, or maybe the preference service doesn’t cover firms operating outside England? Either way, it feels like this should be looked into and the people behind it held responsible.
