I must say, it's become quite tiresome. I'm getting calls at least half a dozen times daily, urging me to fire up my laptop so they can instruct me on removing some supposed spy software. It's incredibly frustrating!

I've been receiving calls from this number multiple times each day for about the past three weeks. I usually don’t pick up unless I recognise the caller, but today I decided to answer. The chap on the other end had a thick accent, probably Asian or Indian, and I found it quite tricky to grasp what he was saying. He claimed to be from TalkTalk and mentioned they had detected an issue with my computer, urging me to switch it on so he could guide me through fixing it. I instantly realised it was a dodgy call, so I promptly cut him off. Interestingly, I encountered a similar scam over a year ago, though that had a different number behind it.

I've been receiving calls from this number about 10 to 15 times a week, claiming to be from TalkTalk. These days, I just let the phone ring and don’t pick up. TalkTalk Scam Alert! I recently got a rather dodgy call from a chap named Thomas Martin, claiming to represent TalkTalk. He appeared to have some insight into my WiFi issues and mentioned a shiny new router on the way, along with a £70 reimbursement. My instincts kicked in when he insisted on accessing my computer to sort this out. Now, being of a certain age but still possessing my wits, I requested his ID. He rapidly recited UIDM02717230. I told him I’d need to verify his credentials and asked him to ring me back later. Upon calling TalkTalk, they informed me they had no record of him. To my dismay, he called again, still pressuring me for computer access. It’s quite unsettling knowing he seemed to have accessed some of my TalkTalk details.

I received a call at my mother's residence from someone purporting to be with Talk Talk. They requested that she power up her computer to supposedly resolve an issue with the router.
