I get calls like 5 or 6 times daily from these people trying to get me to turn on my PC so they can show me how to get rid of spyware. It’s really frustrating!

For the past three weeks, this number has been ringing me multiple times each day. Normally, I don’t pick up unless I recognise who's calling. Today, though, I decided to answer. A bloke with a thick Asian or Indian accent was on the line, and it was quite tricky to catch what he was saying. He claimed to be from TalkTalk and said there was an issue with my computer that he'd help me sort out if I switched it on. I instantly knew it was a scam and ended the call straight away. I've had the same sort of thing happen before, about a year ago, but that time it was from a different number.

They kept calling me claiming to be from TalkTalk and wanted remote access to my computer. This week alone they’ve phoned about five times asking if I was near my PC, but I was stuck at work so couldn’t answer properly. Then today, Saturday 31st Oct 2015, they rang yet again and this time I was actually at my computer so I decided to humour them. They asked me to install TeamViewer, which I refused to do, and the ‘woman’ on the other end got quite aggressive. Things just spiralled from there. I reported it to TalkTalk afterwards, but all they did was point me to a help page that didn’t clear anything up for me. What’s worrying is they seemed to have my last four account digits and sounded very convincing. Watch out for this number - 02825569864. Can someone check this out? I can’t help but wonder if the leak is on TalkTalk’s side - how else would they have any of my info if not from within the company? Might be time to switch to Virgin, honestly.

This number just rang me. I’ve blocked it now, along with a couple more that start with 002 and 02. They’ve been calling a lot lately. I’m really cautious about picking up because the people on the other end aren’t very polite and keep pushing.

Got a ring from this number today 31/10 2015, what a nightmare! When will this whole sorry situation get fixed? I reckon TalkTalk needs to step up and explain what's going on.

Got calls from this number 7 times just today, claiming they're from TalkTalk. Every time I asked for my password, they got proper rude and started swearing at me. One woman, said her name was John and sounded like she was from India. Honestly, do they really think people are that daft? Absolutely ridiculous!

On 24/10/15, a lady from India rang me but I dropped the call straight away. Since the 13th of October, I've been getting loads of annoying calls every day from all sorts of dodgy numbers. Somebody rang me saying they were from Talk Talk’s internet support, said there was a problem with my router and that I was owed £120 back. Told them I wasn’t interested, told them to leave it and then I just ended the call.

This number just rang me up claiming to be from TalkTalk, asking me to open my laptop so they could sort out my router. The guy had no clue about the recent TalkTalk hack that’s been on the news everywhere, and he gave a really dodgy English name. I didn’t bother and just hung up straight away.

I get calls from this number like 10 or more times each week claiming to be from TalkTalk. Usually I just let it go to voicemail now and don’t pick up. They always say there’s an issue with my internet and tell me to turn on my computer. When I say it’s already on, they ask me to press the Windows button, but I tell them I’m using a Mac. After that, they just hang up on me.

Got a call the other day from someone named Thomas Martin who said he was from Talktalk. He acted like he already knew my internet was misbehaving and offered a replacement router plus a £70 refund. Felt a bit off when he asked to get into my computer to sort it all out. I’m not the most tech-savvy but I’m not daft either, so I asked for some ID - he gave me some code: UIDM02717230. I told him to ring back after I’d looked into it. When I called Talktalk, they had no clue who he was. The annoying part is that he rang me again, still trying to persuade me to give him remote access. It’s a bit concerning since he clearly had some info about my Talktalk account already.

Got a call at my mum’s place from someone pretending to be with Talk Talk. They wanted her to switch on the computer so they could “sort out” a supposed issue with the router. Then they said it would cost £75 to replace the router, but they’d give the money back later. Sounds like a total scam to me - don’t let them get you to turn your computer on. Got a call this morning at about 10:21 from someone claiming to be TalkTalk. They said I was owed £90 back but insisted I had to use my computer for the refund. When I told them I wasn’t able to, they just ended the call. Suspicious if you ask me.
