Got a call supposedly from HMRC, said it was urgent and I had to act fast. They kept stressing it was some kind of time sensitive issue. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me, just ignore it!

Got a voice message from some guy with an American accent, sounded like it was recorded. He told me to ring a certain number straight away and said I shouldn’t ignore it because it was something urgent and time-sensitive. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise so I just ignored it. Later, a voicemail came through. When I dialled 121 to check it, some robotic voice started saying something about not ignoring the message because of time. I hung up straight away, felt a bit dodgy.

Totally a scam. I’m curious if there’s some pattern behind who’s getting these calls, maybe it could help figure out where our info got leaked from?

Got calls from these numbers like 02825448120, 02825448116, and 02825448122 about nine times today. Every time I blocked one, they just rang from another one. It’s some automated voice saying not to ignore the message or something. Proper annoying and obviously just a scam, totally pointless ringing me all day.

I can’t believe HMRC actually went ahead and filed a case - what a joke! All they left was a recorded message, nothing else.

SCAM ALERT. So, I gave my info on some LinkedIn form for this company called Grantify. They said they help with government grants for tech projects related to Covid 19. Right after I submitted my details, I started getting calls like this nonstop. I'm pretty sure they shared my info somewhere, that’s where these calls are coming from, no doubt.
