This number looks way too much like one I saw in that video about “10 numbers you should avoid calling.” I want to think it’s legit, maybe from O2, but honestly, I’m not convinced! I’m only 10 years old, and I keep getting calls from numbers I don’t know. It’s super creepy (kind of scary and weird), especially since I hear creepy noises, weird piano music and humming when I’m playing piano, or so my friends tell me. I get calls from them about 3 or 4 times every day. The first time I asked who was calling, they said it was 02, and now they keep insisting they’re 02. I’ve tried blocking the number, but it never stops ringing. So now I just let it go to voicemail and check later. It feels like a scam to push some sort of data plan that you might never actually get, but you’ll probably end up getting charged for it anyway. When I tell them I’m busy at work and can’t talk, they get quite rude and usually ring me back within 10 minutes. It’s really frustrating and pretty annoying!

I rang O2 to check this number and they said it belonged to their Sales department. Just a bit before the call came through, I’d been scrolling through the “My O2” app on my phone looking at the various plans. I reckon the app must have pinged the sales folks because they were definitely chatting about the same offers.

Got a call from someone sounding Irish saying they were from O2, wanted to "check" my data usage. When I said no thanks, she got rude and pushy quite quick. Ended the call straight away.
