Got a call about my home insurance, turns out it was a total scam trying to get my details. Watch out for these dodgy calls!

I reckon this number is probably a scam. Some bloke with an Indian accent called me and mentioned my name, then suddenly said his name was Brian - bit suspicious, right? He started going on about how the warranty on my kitchen gear was about to expire and that I could get a new one at half price. I told him I ain't got any cover with them, and then he just went quiet with loads of chatter in the background before the call ended. When I looked up the number, it showed up as an Irish one, but we all know plenty of these calls actually come from call centres in India.

Luckily, I wasn’t at home when that number rang me!

Got a call from a woman with an accent, claiming to be from a healthcare company pushing some sort of alarm gadget. Made it clear she was barking up the wrong tree.

These idiots could seriously harm someone - they either fail to send the device or just never pick up the phone. Properly dangerous! Honestly, they deserve to be tied up over a mound of ants smeared with honey!

They hung up right quick, probably hoping I'd ring them again. Total scam move.

I told them straight away I never placed an order, and if I wanted one, I'd sort it out myself. Same story as everyone else here.

Received a phone call about a medical alert system, and when I told them I'd never placed an order, they kept insisting. I mentioned I'd acquire one myself if I needed it!

If I were you, I’d block this number right away. Whenever I get a call from a dodgy looking number, I always look it up here first, and from what I found, this one definitely deserves to be blocked. Please watch out for older family members or anyone with learning difficulties - they can easily fall prey to these scams. Tell them not to pick up if they don’t know who’s ringing. Legit callers will usually ring back or leave a voicemail anyway. Just remind anyone vulnerable to stay cautious, it could save them a lot of trouble.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to represent the Medical Health Council, suggesting they were reaching out to offer emergency alert systems for the elderly. To be frank, I find it rather dubious since I'm just 31 years old. I certainly don’t require a device like that! Quite the cheek, if you ask me!

This caller was clearly trying to scam an older, vulnerable person by pretending to be from some Medical Help Service. When I asked how they even got hold of their number, they just cut the call right away. It’s awful how these types target people who are vulnerable - honestly, they should be breaking the law for this.

Some bloke called pretending he was from a health company, going on about a device being free. After blabbing for a bit, he suddenly said it would cost £39. Felt like he thought I fell off the wrong ship or something!

Got a call from someone saying they were with "Medical Health Emergency", trying to sell me these wearable gadgets for use in an emergency. When I said I'd want everything in writing first, they just cut me off. They spoke with a foreign accent too, bit suspicious if you ask me.
