i picked up the phone, there was a bit of a pause and then a woman with an american accent started saying it was "the technical department from british telecom." she warned my internet service was gonna be cut off from today and told me to press 1 to keep it or 2 if i wanted it disconnected straight away. since we dont even use bt, i'm pretty sure this was just some new take on the usual microsoft windows scam.

Just got a call from 01288765301, same script as the last one, rang only a few mins apart. Seems like they're using multiple numbers for this.

Was in the middle of washing my car when this automated voice started saying something about my internet being cut off. Just ended the call straight away.

I got a robocall claiming to be from BT saying they’d cut off my internet unless I hit option 1 or 2. I wasn’t really paying attention and since I’m not even with BT, I just let the call go on so it probably cost them more. Just set up option 1472 to block unknown calls, hoping that stops these dodgy calls from bothering me again.
