Whenever I pick up, the caller just ends the call straight away. Even though I've signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, I still get loads of annoying calls!

I was trying to ask nicely about how their service works to block annoying calls, and they said if I got a nuisance call within 28 days after joining, I could report it to the proper authority and get my money back. I mentioned that I could do that on my own without paying for their scheme. Right after that, the person on the other end just hung up on me!

some bloke with a really loud african accent called and asked me to say my name again, said he'd heard I'd been getting loads of annoying calls lately, asked if that was right sir... i just hung up. one less pest on the line i suppose?
