Monday morning around 9.30, I got a call from 02750470050 but all I could hear were a few strange noises, so I ended the conversation quick. I decided to add that number to my blacklist using BT's free tool called BT Protect. If you fancy it, give it a go - we've barely had any annoying calls since. Whenever a new one pops up, BT Protect blocks it straight away, and they don’t bother again. Really brilliant service, if you ask me.

My home phone has been bombarded with calls from this number for the past several days. It’s clearly an automated system.

There are actually two numbers they ring from - this one plus 01179 506589, which shows up around Bristol. They say they’re with Microsoft. The caller sounded Asian.

Got a call at 7.15 am today, just dead silence on the other end. These damn people need to be cracked down on.

Received a call from this number on Saturday morning, 9th December 2017. An Asian chap claimed he was ringing about a virus on my computer's hard drive and that he was with Microsoft. I was well aware it was a scam as I have my own account, and they typically reach out via email if there's an issue; they never ring anyone unless a callback is requested. I promptly ended the call before he could get too far, and shortly after, the same number buzzed in again. I've since blocked it permanently on my CPR Phone Blocker, which I purchased from the QVC shopping channel five years ago. Best investment I've made!

Honestly, some of these callers are proper muppets. Had a ring earlier today from some woman claiming to be from Microsoft. Told her straight up I don’t have a PC. She hung up right away! Funny thing is, I actually do use one for work at home. They really don’t think things through, do they?

Got a call at 8:48 this morning, but no one spoke. Then I heard a robotic voice saying 'Goodbye'. Been getting these kinds of calls like 5 times in the past month!

Yet another jokester (this time a woman) calling from Microsoft, how amusing! She started going on about my computer, to which I replied that I don’t own one. Well, I do, sort of, but it’s for my business. This really threw her for a loop, and she promptly hung up. Honestly, it's best to toy with these daft callers as much as you can!

Got a call from some bloke saying he was from Windows, said there was something wrong with my computer. I told him I don’t even own one, but he kept asking if I was certain. I told him I was, then accused him of being a scammer and said I’m a police officer. He ended up hanging up on me.

Got a call super early at 7 this morning from someone saying they were with Microsoft. Creepy bit? They even had my surname and postcode right! When I asked why the heck they were ringing me so early, the bloke just hung up on me. Proper annoying!

This number kept ringing me over the last few days but never left a voicemail. When I finally picked up today, the person said he was Peter from Microsoft and told me my computer had shown some errors recently because it’d been hacked and someone was downloading dodgy stuff on it. He said he could fix the problem for me. I told him it sounded like a scam and that I would report the call. Then he said if I didn’t let him access my computer, he’d have to block it. I just told him to do his worst and ended the call.

This number has rung me like 5 times today. The first call was from a woman, didn’t quite catch her name, I told her straight up it was a scam and then put the phone down. Then I got two more calls off a bloke who said his name was Alex - I told him the same and mighta used a few choice words. After that, I ignored two more calls from this same number. Really annoying!

Beware of people pretending to be from Microsoft. They’re usually just scammers. Just hang up if you get a call like that. Microsoft would never ring you out of the blue.

I got a call off someone saying they worked with Microsoft and that our laptop had been hacked or sumthin, and they needed to get in to fix it. I just turned my phone off though, but they still rang me 3 more times after that.

Got calls from two separate folks today - one at 11:50 and another at 13:13. Both said they were calling from Microsoft, saying my computer had been hacked and messages were being sent from my username. They wanted me to let them into my computer, but I firmly told them no way. They tried to convince me otherwise and even called me ‘stupid’ for refusing. Quite cheeky if you ask me!
