9 yearsMonday morning around 9.30, I got a call from 02750470050 but all I could hear were a few strange noises, so I ended the conversation quick. I decided to add that number to my blacklist using BT's free tool called BT Protect. If you fancy it, give it a go - we've barely had any annoying calls since. Whenever a new one pops up, BT Protect blocks it straight away, and they don’t bother again. Really brilliant service, if you ask me.BT9 yearsMy home phone has been bombarded with calls from this number for the past several days. It’s clearly an automated system.9 yearsThere are actually two numbers they ring from - this one plus 01179 506589, which shows up around Bristol. They say they’re with Microsoft. The caller sounded Asian.BristolMicrosoft9 yearsGot a call at 7.15 am today, just dead silence on the other end. These damn people need to be cracked down on.9 yearsReceived a call from this number on Saturday morning, 9th December 2017. An Asian chap claimed he was ringing about a virus on my computer's hard drive and that he was with Microsoft. I was well aware it was a scam as I have my own account, and they typically reach out via email if there's an issue; they never ring anyone unless a callback is requested. I promptly ended the call before he could get too far, and shortly after, the same number buzzed in again. I've since blocked it permanently on my CPR Phone Blocker, which I purchased from the QVC shopping channel five years ago. Best investment I've made!MicrosoftCPRQVC9 yearsGot a bunch of calls today from someone saying they're from Microsoft. I’m 81 years old and haven’t even got a computer in the house!Microsoft9 yearsThis number keeps ringing me up and I’m seriously over it.9 yearsHonestly, some of these callers are proper muppets. Had a ring earlier today from some woman claiming to be from Microsoft. Told her straight up I don’t have a PC. She hung up right away! Funny thing is, I actually do use one for work at home. They really don’t think things through, do they?Microsoft9 yearsGot a call at 8:48 this morning, but no one spoke. Then I heard a robotic voice saying 'Goodbye'. Been getting these kinds of calls like 5 times in the past month!9 yearsGot a call around 12:25 in the afternoon, but all I heard was silence. Then suddenly a robotic voice chimed in with a quick "goodbye!" Strange experience!9 yearsYet another jokester (this time a woman) calling from Microsoft, how amusing! She started going on about my computer, to which I replied that I don’t own one. Well, I do, sort of, but it’s for my business. This really threw her for a loop, and she promptly hung up. Honestly, it's best to toy with these daft callers as much as you can!Microsoft9 yearsGot a call from some bloke saying he was from Windows, said there was something wrong with my computer. I told him I don’t even own one, but he kept asking if I was certain. I told him I was, then accused him of being a scammer and said I’m a police officer. He ended up hanging up on me.9 yearsGot a call from some random number at 7am on a Saturday. Proper annoyed!9 yearsGot a call super early at 7 this morning from someone saying they were with Microsoft. Creepy bit? They even had my surname and postcode right! When I finally picked up today, the person said he was Peter from Microsoft and told me my computer had shown some errors recently because it’d been hacked and someone was downloading dodgy stuff on it. He said he could fix the problem for me. I told him it sounded like a scam and that I would report the call. Then he said if I didn’t let him access my computer, he’d have to block it. I just told him to do his worst and ended the call.PeterMicrosoft9 yearsThis number has rung me like 5 times today.
