I've been getting a lot of dodgy calls recently, so I decided not to pick up this one. The phone just kept buzzing and buzzing for ages, almost like they were trying to annoy me or something. They only stopped when my voicemail started. I kinda guessed I'd see their number pop up on here somewhere.

Got a call from another number, 01803 839688, but it was the same old story. I looked up "help93[###]" online while they were chatting away, and honestly, it didn’t sound great. After pretending to go along with it for a bit, they asked what was on my screen. I just told them, "It says this bloke’s talking nonsense." Then I just said cheers and ended the call. Add that number to your blacklist.

Even after I warned him I'd report him to the cops, he still keeps ringing me up. I told him I knew he wasn't actually from Microsoft, and he even started hurling insults at me. Heard from others that the police can't really help with this kind of thing. It's pretty disappointing, to be honest.

I got a call on my home phone from a bloke claiming to be Michael from Microsoft support, saying my computer was compromised. I told him I didn't even own a computer, which seemed to throw him off completely. He quickly ended the call when I asked how they knew there was an issue!

Saw I had a missed call from this number, so I got curious and checked it out. Cheers to the people at 'who called me', I’ve now blocked the number. Honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without this service - I use it regularly and always recommend it to my mates.

I’m so glad my phone shows who’s calling. If I don’t know the number, I just let it ring out. These annoying calls have been driving me nuts! I decided to check the number online and found out all this info.

I keep receiving calls from an Asian gentleman claiming to be from Microsoft. He rings me daily, each time from a different number. I've blocked him multiple times, but he just keeps coming back. When I told him I don’t have internet access, he insisted he was referring to my laptop instead. Then he threatened to cancel my licence! It's becoming quite the nuisance!

Had a similar thing happen to me. I got roped in by a woman with an Asian accent who persuaded me to download some software called Supremo from a site like [#][#]help93[###]/. After that, a man claiming to be an engineer gained control of my laptop. Luckily, it’s an old computer I hardly ever use, so there wasn’t anything valuable on it. I caught on pretty quickly though, managed to reset all my passwords and wiped the system by reinstalling Windows. Honestly, the UK authorities really ought to take stronger action against this if it’s within their power.

I received a call from this number and straight away, they used a name that didn’t belong to anyone I know, which made it evident it was a telemarketer. I let them know that there’s nobody here by that name and hung up, even though the poor chap was still waffling away. Since then, I’ve had another couple of calls from the same number, but I didn’t bother answering. The very next day, they tried three more times, but I’ve chosen to ignore them. Not once have they left a message, which is rather suspicious, isn’t it?

I had a pretty similar experience. I got caught out when a woman, speaking with an Asian accent, persuaded me to download a remote access tool called Supremo from this site [#][#]help93[###]/. After that, some bloke claiming to be a technician gained control of my laptop. Luckily, it’s a machine I hardly ever use, so there wasn’t any crucial info on there. I caught on quickly enough to reset all my passwords and wipe the system with a fresh install of Windows. Still, I feel like the UK authorities really ought to step in and try to put a stop to this kind of thing.

Just received a scam call from a chap who sounded like he was from India claiming to be from Microsoft. It’s quite bewildering how they manage to get past the ex-directory status, isn't it? It makes you wonder about the effectiveness of our privacy measures.

You know the drill - I received a call this morning from a chap who sounded like he was from Asia. He claimed to be ringing me on behalf of Microsoft, saying there were dubious goings-on with my computer and supposedly illegal actions using my account. I didn't hesitate to hang up after informing him that he was likely the one engaging in any dodgy dealings with my device.

This morning, I received a rather dodgy call from some bloke claiming to be from Microsoft, but the accent was unmistakably Indian. When he probed about whether I had a computer, I responded that I didn’t own one. He then inquired about a laptop, to which I replied negatively. After that, he abruptly ended the conversation. Quite amusing, really!

I just got a call from this number a few minutes ago, and all I got was complete silence before they hung up. What’s BT or the government planning to do about these kinds of calls? They must be able to track and stop these numbers, maybe even take legal action or something.

This guy called Micheal claimed he was from Microsoft, saying my computer was sending out some kind of alerts that needed sorting. I asked him how my Apple Mac, which wasn't even turned on at the time, could be sending Microsoft messages. Needless to say, he didn’t reply and got told to jog on pretty sharpish.

I just got a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft, saying there was an issue with my PC. When I told them I don't actually own a computer, the guy got really hostile and started yelling at me, calling me a liar. I told him to calm down and to take my number off their list right away, but he began shouting back, accusing me of being some sort of criminal?! It was really intimidating and aggressive. This kind of behaviour should definitely not be tolerated. Pretty sure he was trying to scam me or mess with my computer somehow!

I received a rather dubious phone call from someone claiming to be from "Microsoft" at half past one. They insisted that my laptop had been involved in some nefarious activities. I played along for about five minutes before I dropped the bombshell that I didn’t own a computer at all. Then I mentioned that the police were listening in on the whole conversation, and suddenly it all went eerily silent. Eventually, they just hung up! Quite the entertaining encounter, I must say.

My father, who has a disability, frequently receives these calls. There's a caller, a woman with an Asian accent, claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting that there's an issue with his computer. I inquired about how he might handle it, and her response was to start laughing, which I found quite disconcerting, so I ended the conversation. These types of calls seem to happen all too regularly.

I received a dodgy call claiming that my computer had been compromised, and they insisted I switch it on and press some specific keys. I've had a rather unsettling experience today with two separate phone numbers linked to Microsoft. I'm not entirely sure I've managed to block both of them effectively. What's raising my eyebrows is that both callers appeared to have Asian accents, which has me pondering if they might be trying to pull a fast one on me. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
