I kept getting calls from this number, but since I’ve got a call blocker, they never got through and no messages were left. After that, I just went ahead and blocked the number completely.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT broadband support. They told me they needed to switch my router to a different internet slot or whatever, and asked me to turn on my computer and describe the lights on the router. Felt like a total scam to me.

On the 14th of May 2018, around 1:07 pm, I got a call from someone claiming to be from Telephone Preference Service. He said they could put an end to all unwanted calls. I mentioned that I was already on the TPS register, and he claimed they worked alongside them. Then he asked if it would cost me anything, and said there wouldn’t be any charges. Suddenly, he requested my Visa card information. Once I declined, he just told me to enjoy the nuisance calls and ended the call. Pretty clear this was a scam.

I picked up and all I could hear were faint noises in the background, no one spoke. As soon as I greeted them with a hello, the call was cut off.

No words at all, they just cut the call after a short moment.

Some bloke rang up saying he could stop these annoying calls I get harrasing me. He tried pushing my missus to hand over her card details. I snatched the phone off her and gave him a piece of my mind, then he just hung up.
