I asked them for some kind of reference or code since I’m already sorting out an issue with BT, and then they just cut the call straight away. No doubt about it, a total scam.

We've gotten a few dodgy calls claiming to be from BT before, though I can't remember the exact number. It's a bit fishy that folks here are mentioning 'BT' and this particular number has been ringing our landline loads of times but no one speaks. We're on the TPS list, so I reckon either they’re calling from overseas or just ignoring the do not call rules.

Got a call from this number but it was just dead silence on the other end. Seems like one of those random auto-dialling things where no one even talks if you answer. It’s a bit annoying though, especially since it took some time before hanging up and then I couldn’t get through back because the number’s blocked. I've had like 15 calls today from 09:09 to 12:13, some just moments between each. I finally picked up after missing two; just got in after work and told them straight I wasn’t interested and to stop ringing me, but they keep at it. They claim to be from BT trying to help me cut my bills, but no legit company would hassle you that much. Total scam if you ask me!

I reckon this isn’t a real BT call. I’m actually employed by BT and managed to keep the caller chatting for about 18 minutes while they tried to convince me to hand over my debit card info to confirm my BT account. Legitimately, BT never contacts people like that! It’s totally a scam, and I’ve already flagged it with the proper folks at BT.

I’ve had like 16 calls just this morning from 9 until about half one in the afternoon, loads coming one straight after the other. When I picked up on the third time, they said they were from some company wanting to help me save cash. No proper business would keep ringing that much or bug you nonstop just to offer savings. Total scam if you ask me!

Got a call at 8:15 in the morning on 20th April 2017 but didn’t pick up. They rang back about two hours later, and this time a woman with an accent I couldn't place said she was from BT Accounts. She started asking for my account details and mobile number. I played along for a bit before telling her straight she was trying to scam me. As soon as I hung up, she bombarded my phone with about 15 calls one after another. Proper dodgy scammers, beware!

Got a call from someone saying they were BT accounts, but the loud background and the accent sounded like it was from one of those call centres in India. The woman insisted she was with BT accounts.
