Got a call from some Indian call centre the other day. This woman was super pushy, kept saying I wasn’t helping by refusing to answer their security questions! She even said she knew where I lived. To back that up, she rattled off my old address - mind you, we’ve moved twice since then! I told her firmly to stop calling me, asked her which bit of “do not call me again” was unclear. She just dropped the call. Classic.

Got a call from 02534682896, some Indian guy saying he was ringing from the Telephone Preference Service. He said they were gonna stop all those pesky calls (I laughed and asked, 'does that include this one?'). Then he tried to get me to confirm my address and postcode. I asked him two times, ‘what exactly are you after?’ and then he just hung up on me. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I didn’t pick up, so no idea if there was an issue, but like usual I looked the number up here and decided to block it based on the reviews. Strangely though, I saw on my phone that I’d actually called that number for about three minutes! Might’ve gone on longer if I hadn’t spotted it in time. I rang Virgin to check if I was going to get charged, but they said they couldn’t do anything until I actually get a bill through. So, just a heads up - watch out!

Got a call from what said it was the Telephone Preference Service, but the voice was obviously from an Indian call centre. They even mentioned my address, which felt a bit dodgy. Didn’t hang about to see what they wanted and just cut the call. Not really sure if it was legit or not.
